when i ordered mine i had the same dilemma. at first i was going to get the polished. then i realized how much harder it would be to keep it clean so i went with the satin. so if you dont mind constantly cleaning and shining up the unit then go polished. i am lazy so satin ultimately was the better choice for me.

I would go with polished if I were you. I have satin and it looks ok, but not nearly as nice as polished. Polished is really not that hard to keep clean, it is pretty much out of the direct airflow and doesn't really get dirty. Plus it looks sooo much better when it is clean than satin does. So I say, GO POLISHED.

If you want to color match you can paint the head unit, tubing, and aftercooler in the color of your choice....another reason to get satin...

Personally I hate the maintenence of polished and infield have chosen black on my current blower if it were available....

I chose satin.....since I want to stay with the black and satin engine bay scheme.

^ Has anyone posted pics of this? I dont think I have ever seen a Vortech that has been painted to match.
You know I like red..... This is something I would definitely consider painting red if possible.
Just the after cooler alone in red would be sweeeeet!

And 1 last question.... did it have to be powder coated?

A sublime that had a hulk theme and molsrt8 has his red
