: No More '10 GC SRT8?!?

So I went to two different Jeep dealerships hoping to order a 2010 GC SRT8 but as of now, they are no longer selling them. I've been trying to look for a 08+, but since they are doing the $5,000 off rebates, I might as well get a new one.

Looks like I'll have to wait for the 2011/12 SRT8 model.

You're going to have to find one in the field. Production has switched over to new 2011 model. So you can't order from the factory.

They're out there. Go find one.

There DEF out there! Even new ones. Just not right from factory.

Look around, and check your local auctions. Manheim auto auction (a few hours away from me) sells new Jeep srt-8`s all the time. (well 3 or 5 miles on them...).

And I would also express my interest to local Jeep dealerships. Tell them your looking for a srt-8 Jeep, and a good salesman will go and look for 1 to sell you :D I went to 2 or 3 Jeep dealerships in my area, I ended up getting my Jeep from the first place I went to... about 2 weeks later or so

2010 production stopped a few months ago. You can find them out there.

There's at least 10 sitting on lots in Calgary right now, so I have to believe there are a couple of hundred in the states.

where are you guys finding 2010?

I called on every 2010 listed all over the USA, including Jeep.com, autotrader, cars.com and ebay and they have been sold. dealers still have them listed on their sites but they are sold.

I found two 2010 demo's with 5k miles. One dealer told me it's the boss's wife's demo and they wouldn't sell it at any price. The other dealer would only give a 2k discount off sticker for their demo.

I did find a new 2010 and the dealer wanted 10k over sticker

I found another new one and the dealer put a supercharger on it and said they wouldn't take a penny less than $61k.

I called atleast 50 dealers and I only found the 4 mentioned above.

You just saved everyone interested in a 2010 a lot of work, if they're all sold, why don't they take them off the listings:rolleyes:

10K over sticker, what is this, 2009!

I think for two reasons.

1) they don't update their websites as often as they should (most likely).

2) to get calls and then to try to sell the interested buyer something else.
Several dealers tried to sell me a 2010 limited or the new 2011 Cherokee

many dealers also tried to sell me used 2009's with 10k miles on then for $42-45k.

ask your dealer to do alittle leg work, they can look up all jeep dealers stock and make phone calls to other dealers and make a trade and get the jeep you want if it's avaiable. make em earn thier money

I just picked up a 2010 in AZ with about 6K on the clock. Though there are few out there and many dealers are out of their minds when it comes to negotiating, you can find a deal. Just be patient and keep looking. Took me about 4 months to find mine and that included multiple failed negotiations between myself and dealers in my area.

Yes Calgary has a few that’s for sure. About 6-8 weeks back I think the last of what we are getting arrived and the dealers got one of every color each. I know around half of those are sold since they got them though – been watching them disappear along MacLeod every morning!

Cars.com shows 21 new 2010's spread out among dealer lots.... rebates are still on.

I live in central Ohio. My local Jeep dealer found my 2010 in Chicago. Charged me $120 to go get it.:)

It's hard to resist 7k from the manufacturer and 2.5% before you even start negotiating with the dealer. Guess I got lucky with timing, I had no idea they were getting scarce. My wife even got him to throw in a netbook at the last second lol.

one of those two is already sold (I called last week) and the other dealer wants $10k over sticker because he says he has the last new 2010 SRT-8 in the USA.

You'd have to be insane to pay $10,000 over sticker with the 2011 just around the corner. I paid $250 over invoice on my 2010.
