I just replaced the Goodyear EMT's with new Michelin Diamaris, 275/40R20 fronts and 315/35R20 rears. So far, a better ride and not as jumpy over concrete road expansion strips and no road noise. Not cheap, about $1700 including mounting and balancing. I also purchased a tire repair kit from Discount Tire Direct, similar to the Corvette Z06 kit, just in case. $99.00 for the kit.

Thanks for the info. One quick question......do the tire pressure sensors still work fine??? TIA.

OEM tire pressure sensors will work. STS Tire Service did my install. Just make sure that they don't break them as they are made of plastic.

Have you tried launching the jeep with those tires ? I heard that their traction doesnt hook off the line as well as the stock emt's - and you have any pics ?? i'd love to see the 315's from the rear :D

I thought those tires weighted a lot more than the run flats. This will rob horsepower. Are you sure this was a good idea? What made you change from the run flats?

Couple guys have tried these now and are pretty satisfied. I believe it was Claude on the other Forum said he was concerned with hook up, but it was really cold and he'd try again.
They sound like a good alternative to me.
Weight wise......I had it written down, but hard to read my own writing. I'm sure though that Mich's are lighter.
Mich....275/40......32lbs........GY's.......255......36lbs.
Mich....315/35......35lbs........GY's.......285......40lbs.
So overall, Mich's knock off 18 or so pounds.
