looking at another SRT-8 at a Jeep dealer. Dealer says it costs another $1k if I want the certified preowned warranty (thru Chrysler).

is it worth it? has anyone negotiated this cost down?

I bought my 07 a couple months ago and had it certified. If I remember correctly, the cost was around $400. They also had to fix a couple items to get it certified, one of the fog lights was out and had to put new front pads on. I thought it was worth it to get the extra warranty as the original warranty was about to run out.
