great video but thats a 6.3 or 6.4 compared to a 5.7. Can't wait to see a 6.1 to a 6.1 then we could determine apples to apples.

A 6.3L.
Really no comparison at all. I am the first one to admit that.
The problem here is that the ASM Charger is running slower than a stock 5.7. The guy made four runs that day and ALL 4 runs were between 14.4 - 14.6@96mph......
I have asked many times to the vendor of the ASM kit what is going on here and every time I was either ignored or told they would find out. Never get an answer. For a company that is claiming 125 hp for the 5.7 and 175 hp for the 6.1 (which I have yet to see one on the 6.1) there are no supporting documents (or videos) for these numbers.....
Pretty high price to pay for a loss of power. IMO

Change your sig to your OC sig!! Much better!
...anyways there is a guy here who is getting the asm blower for the Jeep. I don't think I have seen anything posted as far as a finished product though. That could be the first 6.1 install.

lol Damn, that sig was from last years Spring Fling. lol Been awhile since I posted here.
Anyway, yea I know there is a GC getting this installed and I wish him ALL of the best and success on the kit. It stands to be a great kit, but very little has been posted about it.....
I would hate to see people lose 8K on a mod that results in a loss of power.

There are some photos on my MOD site of the ASM. There are two right now that are up and running. The test Jeep that has been running perfectly with the piggy back system. And the other had the install done last week. I should receive the kit this week. BuilderBill went to the shop and has confirmed that the place is top notch. I am sure we will see very large HP gains from this! I BETTER!!!
Can that guy you raced drive?

I am sure that ASM is a top notch shop. I never questioned that side of it, it has always been why the low ET and trap speeds on the 5.7? Why are there no supporting documents for the HP gains? etc....
can the guy drive? I would like to think so. lol How hard can it be to drive an automatic? It is not the ET that I am looking at, rather the trap speeds. 96mph and the four runs were very consistant. So yes he could drive.
Even if one has a ****ty 60' and does nothing but spin the tires, the trap speed should still be up near its potential.
And the this particular Charger is ASM's poster (meant in a good way) car.
I am just disappointed that the vendor would never give a response.
I hope that yours puts out the numbers that is claimed.

Kinda trippy seeing you over here Ron! lol I think you need to get a GCSRT8 and mod the heck out of it as well.
Hey Ron that was a fun weekend at Speed World , the track wasnt the best for sure.
Miester's 5.7 was running low 13's
The ASM charger ran a 14.5 and a 14.7 @94 mph

Please note that BuilderBill is going to take the high road here and let the ASM prepped Hemi speak for itself when completed this summer. As the members know, I always post my results whether good or bad.
