My buddie at work wants to run me to 60 on his zx7r...i bet him a tank of gas hahah what do you guys think? I think i should be able to launch a bit faster..?

Well he isnt the greatest, kinda new been riding for a couple months now..i think the jeep might be more consistent and he might f-up the launch....i looked up stock 0-60 for the bike and its 3.33 to 60 i dont know what i do to 60 tho...?

Yeah it definitely depends if he can ride! I say its a possibility you might win man! Is his bike lowered and stretched or strapped down on the front?

0-60 in 3.33 and thats done by a professional. You just might take him if he sucks REALLY REALLY bad. Lol.

As a rider off and on for 25 years, I wouldn't want to take that bet. Unless he just doesn't know how to ride, he should beat you easily. 0-60 is a motorcycle's strongest point, pure power-to-weight acceleration.

The only way you'd beat him is if he either bogs it/stalls it with too little throttle, or pops a wheelie that scares him into abruptly closing the throttle. Otherwise, he may not even have to change out of first gear to beat you. 3.6 lbs/HP vs. our 11.4 lbs/HP, over 3 times better power/weight.

The only way to know is if you do it. Oh and the word on the street is that you have a better chance of winning if you record it and show us the video, apparently it greatly reduces your 0-60 times :D

If nothing else do it for the compliments afterwards, like wow that jeep is way faster than i thought it would be!!

look at it this way. You loose you pay maybe 20 bucks to fill his bike, he loose he is going to pay close to 60 to fill your tank, so no matter what you don't have much to loose but alot to win.
