mls27 05-14-2007, 04:39 PM Hey guys, just found this great site and decided to join. I've been asking LOTS of questions about a few different cars, so I'll probably ask too many about the SRT-8, but I take car buying as a pretty big decision (long term).
I am going to test drive SRT-8 next weekend, the LAST test drive befre i buy something..TBSS and GTO are other options. I know the SRT-8 is a little more pricey, but it seems like a car that will shine and last for a good 5-8 years right?
They have Silver in stock, so we'll see.

I myself had the GTO and was not impressed. I couldn't wait till the lease was up... the TB SS gets ripped a new one performance wise (stock vs stock). Once you drive the JEEP SRT8 you will be in heaven...plus you get a nav (optional) and some other perks the other 2 don't offer.... not to mention the exclusivity factor and the what the hell just beat me factor...lol.
May the force be with you....choose wisely.

mls27 05-14-2007, 04:56 PM yeah 30k for the GTO doesnt seem worth it when compared to the SRT8. I see the invoice is listed much lower than the MSRP. What kind of payments are you all making? Any 0% deals? I can barely understand their website.

I think payments depend on your credit and down paymnt plus final price of the car...also buying or leasing....
safe bet i think would be in the 600's a month generally...give or take.
Just my opinion...relax all you HATER-ADE drinkers out there...:D
mls27 05-15-2007, 08:43 PM what are some negatives about the Jeep if there are any?
FastSRT8GC 05-15-2007, 09:03 PM what are some negatives about the Jeep if there are any?
Running gear 80 @ 3k
Gas mileage But all of your choices are pigs on gas
Not very good for towing(who cares)
And the addictive take off from every light. <<< Not so negative.
Also I have held off a well modified GTO till 105 MPH
And the TB SS Can not compete stock vs stock in a straight line. Or in any way on a road course.
mls27 05-17-2007, 08:35 PM That's what I figured. I am heading to see a silver one and test drive it this weekend. Hopefully they come down near 39k when we bargain. I'm not paying 50 grand for ANY SUV...I'd rather buy the C6. I say 40 tops and we may have a deal.
umchemeng 05-17-2007, 09:03 PM ewwww good luck with that...

Yeah, i'm sure it's 6's either way. The money you would've saved would've been put right back into mods, right! :)
