I went up to Estes Park this morning to see my sister, and there's a nice stretch of twisty mountain passes between Boulder and Estes. It was a beautiful day and there was very little traffic, so I was having a little fun but not really pushing it. Then I see an Audi moving up fast in the mirror and decided to play with him. I let him get kind of close then took off. He started pushing harder trying to catch me through the twisties, but he couldn't unless I slowed down. Then I'd take off again before he could catch up. ;) We finally came to some straight stretches and I saw him hit it thinking he was finally gonna pass me. He was wrong! I nailed it and pulled right away. So we pulled into Estes and got responsible again. I got to my street and pulled into the turning lane. He pulled up right behind me. I figured he either wants to talk to me or is going the same way. Then he suddenly pulled back out onto the main road and waved as he drove off. Guess he finally got close enough to see the SRT8 emblem and knew why a Jeep just handed him his ass. It was a S6, but not sure what year. Those twisties are a blast in the beast! As I've said before, these things handle better than they have a right to. Great fun!

The return trip sucked though. Raining the whole way with slow pokes in front of me all the way through Boulder. Man those people are the worst drivers I've ever seen!

Great story, Wink! These porky bricks can sure handle curves and will surprise many who doubt.

Thanks Dave! I used to have fun in my Infiniti on these roads out here, but it wasn't as much fun. It didn't have to power to pull out of the apexes like the Jeep does. Sure surprised that Audi owner, but the S6's are kind of pigs anyways.
