I have noticed a problem with my Auto-Starter. About one out of every five times I use the starter button my alarm goes off. I will start the car with the key and all is well. When I actually get into the car, put the key in the ignition, and turn is when the alarm goes off. Any thoughts???

No, factory starter... When the key is turned the Horn/Lights start going crazy (like the alarm). It does not stop until I turn the car off and restart it with the key.

Are you unlocking the doors with the remote or key?

I believe JTSRT is thinking the same thing as me. When you use the remote start, the vehicle automatically locks the doors. You need to unlock the doors with the key FOB and you should be ok.

I have been using the FOB unlock the doors.

You could try disconnecting the negative terminal on the battery, then hold down the brake pedal for 10 seconds, and see what happens. More than likely you need to go to the dealer. Sorry for your problem.
