Did you powerbrake your launch at all? I used to have a built 5.9L Jeep that ran mid 13's but I usually launched at about 2000 RPM's or so.

I wouldn't worry about mods until the Jeep completely opens up after a few thousand miles. The stock times are only going to get better.
