I think the thread was posted by JDOC on his new hood but I could be wrong. I did a search and couldn't find it. Just wondered as I know it is a functional ram air and was interested in updates on the hood. Any help would be thankful.

no I think his ride is red. It's not the oober hood but exact same style with a working ram air. I think it is fiberglass and is white in the pics. There are multiple pics open and closed showing the functional ram air. let me know if you find it.

Thanks,
Eric

You are the craziest 440 guy I know :D. I was just wondering about this hood. If I am going to fab up something to isolate the Arrington I figured I might as well have a hood that would feed it  Just a thought. My PI 3200 stall will be in tomorrow and you have to sit on your nands until I can post something worthy of your rebuttal!!!!! If not I will just bow gracefully as I continue to do :p

Are you going with a smaller or lighter set of wheels? I have wondered about that. I actually thought about this exact thing today. Thinking in laymans terms, yes lighter wheels would be great and should make sense that you run faster. But isn't the biggest problem traction? What do you do in the winter when you need more traction?.....well, you add more weight. I think a smaller wheel changing the gear ratio is a great idea speaking from a straight physics perscpective. I will be interested to see as always what you come up with.....you for sure ALWAYS keep it interesting :D

Probably because he wasn't a vendor and was giving his phone out to people.

Gotta support the forum and give the $$ if someone wants to make the $$$.

Wasn't trying to ruffle the forums feathers, was just wondering what happened to the thread. I didn't realize that had happened as I am not on here frequent enough to follow. Thanks for the update. I guess I will just wait and see or have one fabbed up on my own specifically for what I need. Or for that matter fabbed to my medic hood :D

Thanks Paul, now I remember. I found the thread on the other forum thanks to King. I was just searching on here but after the google search, found it right away.

Chris, 9/9/72 is my birthday just in case you want to save up and get me a Builder Bill driveline in the fall! :D
