Hi all,so here I am stuck again.I took the mirrors off the truck and that was a PITA in itself.Now I am trying to separate the painted shell from the rest that is not painted.I know it comes apart,I am just lost as I was on the verge of breaking them to get apart and still no luck.
When the mirror is in the folded position,I can see 2 small tabs that can be depressed to get them apart.Still did me no good however.
I need help real soon because if I don't paint them today,I wonKt have time thr rest of the week to and I'll have to put em back on as is.Any help?

Ok,I was successful in removing the glass.However,I still cannot figure out how to get the outer painted shell separated from then unpainted portion.I have really tried my all and came up with nothing.
