I know this is off the Jeep topic, but I was looking through the Sacramento classifieds and spotted a dealer ad for 2 CSRT8's for $32,995. That was with a dealer bonus and $3500 rebate - if memory serves correctly. Almost cheap enough to buy one of those too....... I really hope they don't "devalue" the Jeep with these types of incentives. I'm still bummed about the EP BS last year. No offense to the guys that got theirs for EP.

It started as a $1500 bonus in Feb, then went to $2500 in March, and now its $3500 in May. Soon it will be $4500 and a spare 6.1 engine to replace the one that is starting to build up coolant gunk.

Go check out what they will allow for a trade. My Bee is going to my othwer son that does not worry about Coolant gunk and other problems. He is young, he does not know any better. I will keep it for a while longer, until the 08 Vettes are out.

I don't know... Go on Ebay. For once it seems the Jeep is the only one holding its value at all. Other SRT8's are dropping like a rock.

The jeep is not holding its value. Look on Kelley blue book for trade in value for 06 GC. Retailed for 45K and trade in right now is 31K. Thats ridiculous!!

the only american built vehicle thats holding its value seems to be the new zo6's...the only thing that really sucks about prices like that is that soon we'll see them evvverryyywhhherre. I live in the chicagoland area and its incredible how many jeep srt8's i've seen...more than any other srt8

Most SRTs have a "gas guzzler tax" maybe that is why there are so many incentives to be had on everything but the Jeep. If you want to make money, put it in the stock market...Although I have never owned a stock that gave me as much joy as driving my toys! :) Life is short enjoy it!:D

Perhaps you took it too literal when I said holding its value.. Lets just say it is holding more value than the other SRT8's. They are all falling like a brick- that is to be expected. The Jeep version is not going down nearly as fast though. I don't care about KBB, just what they are actually selling for. Besides the car dealerships usually use NADA.

Sorry, but I didn't buy my GC based on it's worth to others.....now or in the future. I only care about what it's worth to me.....everyone else can take a hike.

Only time I check value is when I am going to buy or sell..of which, I am planning to do neather. Really didn't buy for an "investment".
