I'm new to the forum and picked up an 06 SRT. Just hit the 45k mileage and time for service. Any good or bad experiences with stealerships? Any other recommendations? Sounds like fluids with exception to transfer case will be changed. Thanks in advance.

Why skip the transfer case? Check this out. WKJeeps is very helpful. Save it.

PJS, where are you located? Good job on the purchase.
I'm located in Seattle area 5 mins from downtown but drive on the Eastside. The woman at Kirkland Jeep told me transfer case wasn't till 60k. Ball park on changing all fluids? I picked up my SRT from a former member on here ( I think).

God in heaven! Have some respect for the Jeep, man. Lol. Would you trust an epileptic doctor to do your visectomy? LMAO!! Only teasing. Found a local place to do my engine oil change for me for $80. Thats fairly cheap unless you do it yourself. Are you handy?

I had a bad experience at Jiffy Lube. Thats why I said that. Just shop around if you can't do it yourself. Its really easy to do and any mechanic can do it but don't just have any cheapo mom and pop place do it to save a few bucks. This is just my opinion.

No worries I did a car fax before I bought and the guy before me hads taken it to jiffy lube. I figured if I go to the dealer i can buy the oil and have jiffy do it. Dealer quoted me 150 for transfer case and 250 for oil change. Seems high

$250 for an oil change! I know the SRT8 takes some nice oil, but when I bought my SRT8 in LA I got a Jeep dealer (not a dealer I bought it from, it was private party) to do the oil change for $79.99.
Called both dealers (local) and oil change is 130 plus tax. Transfer case and front /rear axle is 240 total. Dropped it off this AM. Better to have a solid running rig than cutting corners elsewhere. Surprised no local input on which dealers are better. Coming from BMW for last 10 years there was clearly a difference between Seattle service and Bellevue ( will always buy and service at Seattle).

Where did you take it? I have had no problems with Rairdon in Kirkland. We've had 3 different vehicles there for various service/warranty work.. Personally I would stay away from Dodge of Bellevue, I believe they are part of Autonation dealers. Never had anything positive come out of Autonation dealerships....just my $.02. Hope it's all good for ya.

Well I dropped the car off at 7 and didn't show up to pick it up till 5pm. Told them at 1:30 would be there by 4 to pick it up. Disappointed to find myself waiting nearly 20 mins to get the "paperwork" when I did show up. My car wasn't washed when they pulled it around.I should also mention when i showed up there were at least 5 guys standing around outside the service entrance on a break of some sort. and as I exited the dealer lot a car in front of me must have been on a test drive because the salesman in the backseat raised his arm out the rear window and flipped off his coworkers while i was directly behind him...all in all not impressed but i have no other options.
