im looking for a srt8 jeep and think i may have found the one i want its a 07 with a supercharger on it its silver, and im just wondering what are teh weak points on the jeeps and something that seems to break or go alot?? Just want a make sure everything is good. Im not sure what kind of supercharger is on it yet but will know tommorow, anywyas it has 86000 kms on it and price is 34000 cad and the ad also says it has around 600hp is that accurate or more like 500hp?? Anywyas its at a dealer and the warranty ran out i guess at 60 000 kms but the dealer said they would give me a 3 month warranty on it. What do you guys think its in mint shape in and out!!!

depends if it has heads and/or cam with the blower... around 600 at the crank isnt too off on the power with a blower ....

#1 thing that will likely start to go on the jeep...is the trans... it will start to slip after the extra power is on it for a while and how hard the previous owner beat on it. a SHR or Paramount trans upgrade would be a good idea and investment. Either one will take the power and shift must more firmly with the upgraded parts in it.

I would be very careful in buying a supercharged Jeep. I would try to find out exactly what mods were installed on it, how long they've been on it, and find out who did the tune on it.

Maybe the dealer could give you the previous owners phone number???

You could also look at a vendor here by name of PWR his name is Andy. He carries tranny's as well. Do your homework for the tranny, there is a brand of tranny around that from all Ive seen wrote about it, it has a ZERO reported failure rate. The search function here sucks but if you are relentless you will learn to find many asked and answered questions. Good luck on your search Bro! You will not be dissapointed with the Jeep if you purchase one.

also for that price you could get a used 07 with less km for around 38000 and add a supercharger yourslf, then you know
