alright folks we finally recieved some weather up here in nova scotia that allowed me to get out and give my beast some attention. gave it a good bath and finally got to debagde the jeep logos. am now completly jeep free!(except wheel hubs....damn wheel hubs).
I took some pics to show you all. not a scratch! (used hair dryer and fishing line and they poped rate off!)
Also threw in a couple pics of my SRT8 with my dads SC Range Rover Sport (in one pick can also see moms FX45) and a pic of my beast at the beach.
hope this weather keeps up!

Nice, but you need to clean your lens on your camera. Every photo has distortion in the center!!

That's just some schmegma on the lens, it happens if conditions are right.

Looks great! Can you comment on the Range Rover Sport? I test drove one and it felt pretty good. Of course, I am sure no where near the thrust of the SRT8 but would love to hear you feedback on driving both? Thanks

the RRS is, all around, a much nicer vehicle. the jeep has it beat in the fun to drive category as well as the speed, power, and sound.
the RRS is a much smoother ride (air ride suspension) and a more comfortable ****pit. for longer drives the range rover is the way to go, (howerver i drive my jeep evrywhere and love it) i had the RRS for about 2 months before i got my jeep, no regrets waht so ever.
the back seat of the RRS is also more comfortable, more room, heated rear seats etc. but im never back there so it is really irrelevant in my decision. I imagine that down the road i will get a RRS but as of now, i couldnt be happier with my SRT8!
if i were to drive something besides my SRT8, it would be the RRS.

hope that helped, for any specifics, just ask away!

Very nice. I'm doing a de-jeeping this weekend, putting and SRT (neon SRT) to the front, and adding SRT8 emblems to the side of the vehicle.

My question is, how long did you have the dryer blowing on the letters before attempting to remove them. Or is it one of those, it's pretty obvious as you go things....

i would say i left it there about a minute for each letter, youll see as your going to pop it off, if the fishing line is cutting your fingers, blow dry it some more. just put the fishing line behind the chrome of the jeep sigh and not the sticky backing. no scratches!
good luck!

Yea just like squigmang said the sport it over all a nicer vehicle. Nav is soooo easy to use unlike ours. You get all of the power and you dont have to compromise on the off road capabilities. Plus best thing is that the servicing to the vehicle in the warranty period is free. (i sell ranges ha sry) I love my jeep though it is way more fun to drive. But the rrs is more comfy for the long trips!

the sc rrs is 400 ponies. 0-60 is 7 seconds, and 1/4 mile in 15.4 seconds... quite a significant difference.
the jeep has much more power. in every sence of the word.

to add to that list, the rrs has a much nicer interior with leather door panels etc.

That was my point, that there was quite a difference....
I guess you didn't pick up on the sarcasm. :p
I think that rr is a beautiful car, don't get me wrong on that.

Great pics Squig. If the one at the beach didn't have the lens distortion I think it would have become my desktop background. Looks great, and of course debadging is the way to go for clean look.

The Range looks like a station wagon parked beside the Jeep. Although I have much respect for the RR, you gotta go Jeep on the styling points.
