I was driving beside my dad last night and decided to leave him in the dust, so I downshifted twice then speed off to the next intersection. At which point I forgot I was in manual....when the light went green, I stomped the gas, hit the rev limiter and was wondering what the hell was happening. I took me a few seconds to realize I needed to upshift. I was scared that I did some damage considering I've only got 980 km (~600mi) on the jeep so far. Lol, ever since breaking it in I've hit the rev limiter about 8 times....I feel really guilty about driving the Jeep so hard now and really hope I didn't add any extra damage or wear. radduc 06-16-2006, 11:50 AM By doing what you did,as well as the 8 times hitting redline you are going to have HUGE problems!!!Your gas millage will be decreased,the truck will run rough and only get worse.Not to mention the transmission porblems that you are going to run into.:eek: radduc 06-16-2006, 11:52 AM Dude!!
