Hey guys...

I've been perusing this forum for a few months now gathering some ideas and info. Of all the forums that I am on...this is by far the most helpful and the "nicest" of any. That must say something about people who own SRT8's.

I wish I would have just bought mine when I wanted it last year...but the leases sucked. So I ended up with two cars - a Volvo S60R, and an 07 Jeep Wrangler 2 door. I've had 6 wranglers in my life and usually keep them as a second car. But - moving into a loft with 1 parking space as FORCED me (yeah, right) to get rid of these and jsut Buy the 8 - which will be in steel blue.

I'm planning on doing some interior mods - adding leather to doors, dash, etc...possibly the sears, mesh front grill, 180 degree thermo, and a few small other things.

My question is tires. I tend to use stock rims - i like the way they look. And on both my Volvo and my Wrangler - i went up in size but kept it under the 3% rule. That, along with spacers, filled the wells nicely without voiding any warranty, etc.

On these 20's - has anybody just gone up sizes to fill the well a little more? If so...what size and are there pics?

Oh yeah...i just test drove an 07 and it was CRAZY.

Thanks in advance. I can't wait to join this club!

Michelin Diamaris 275-40/20 front and 315-35/20 rear.
Mounted on the stock 9'' and 10'' rims, no rubbing or clearances issues, everything fits right. Gives the GC a more aggressive look and the ride is fine, even a bit smoother or less choppy than the Goodyears.

Candyman,

Are these Michelins taller and/or more of a sidewall. I'd like to fill more of the fenderwell with tire. I also love the stock rim...

Thanks,

They're about 1/3rd of an inch smaller in overall wheel diameter, so there's a hair less sidewall than stock.
