So I purchased Jet 180 t/stat, Volant CAI, and Predator for my 07 which I traded for a red 2010 this last weekend. I only ever installed the CAI in the 07, I have the others new. A great deal at my dealer was to be had, in which they also had an 08 I was thinking about that had a Mopar/Corsa Exhaust and the Mopar CAI. I agreed to pay $40500 and they took off the mods on the 08 to go on the 2010. This is now a f***** ripper, luv it. It drives so much better than the 07 it's not even close. It had 33K miles and they gave me 29K as a trade. They hooked a Lad up.
The last few days Ive been trying to read up on adding the Predator to my 2010 and in other threads there seems to be issues? I don't know if I want to go down this path, the hassle of changing tunes etc: and maybe it/ I will screw up and be left with a 2010 RED tin can. I also like the idea of the 180 tStat but I guess it only works with the predator?
Maybe I should just sell the tstat and predator new in boxes and stay the way it currently is. Guy's that have had a 2010 with and without a tune ..........I'd appreciate some feed back. Thanks!!!!!

The Predator works fine with 2010 models. I use mine all the time. However you need to load the the 9r23 CROM file which adds support for the 2010. You can download it from the Diablosport website.

You can use the 180 tstat without the redator, but you will not realize the benefits until the Predator is installed and you can adjust the fan settings

Wink, Ekaz -Thanks guy's for the feed back, though what I really want to know is the predator going to improve my driving speed/overall experience?...........if you have a 2010 and you had it stock then added the predator did you notice a big difference say( slipping though the auto stick) etc: I noticed a huge dif between the 07 and 10. IS IT worth the hassle/ is the predator worth it.

The canned tunes that come with the Predator will give you a slight boost in performance and firmer shifts, but not an OMG improvement. More show than go is how I'd describe it. I recommend the Predator and a CMR tune. PM diablotoona about a tune. You'll be glad you did! His tunes make the vehicle perform much better than stock. But there are other things that will augment the tune, like a CAI (Cold Air Intake). And while not a performance mod, I'd get a oil catch can on there ASAP. It keeps oil out of your intake manifold and combustion chamber. They should be standard equipment on all Hemis, but sadly they aren't. Contact Billet Technologies for the catch can. Those are the basic mods most people do.

Another is a 180 degree thermostat. So far, here in Colorado, I've not found a need for one for my 2010. Hotter environments may be different. But I certainly gave mine a thorough thrashing yesterday and it didn't faze the temp. YMMV

As to the CAI, well opinions vary. Mine? They all perform about the same (Volant, Bwoody, AFE, Arrington), so it doesn't really matter which one you get. There are thousands of posts and opinion on the subject. Read through them as I did then make up your own mind. Remember most popular doesn't always mean best.

Hope that helps!
