MatFab 05-04-2007, 12:53 PM wow thats real nice. how long did it take him?
They worked on it for about a week.
squigmang 05-04-2007, 01:31 PM looks amazing greg, im loving the cf look material and the piano black. i so wish there were decent car upolstry shops around here
ChrisWK 05-04-2007, 01:41 PM Sweet, That is best interior I have seen in a Jeep, Next you need email your pictures to DC to show them what the SRT8 interior should look like. Later
ChrisWK
agreed. that looks outstanding.
maxxjeep 05-04-2007, 02:41 PM Out of control G-man. Out of control. :D
T-Time 05-04-2007, 02:47 PM Unbelieveable, I love the O'sh*t handles, and the srt8 emblems. Did they make those? How about a pic. with your dash mods included. So Hot!!!
T-Time
BuilderBill 05-04-2007, 02:52 PM GE2,
Thats about as good as it gets.
I agree, SRT Engineering should see that.
Absolutely beautiful, whats that wet stuff out your window??
Bill
LOL...... that wet stuff just got me stuck in a hail storm. My folks are out of town, and I was just heading to their house to take in their mail, and JUST as I was pulling into their garage, HAIL HAIL HAIL.
I will try to get a shot this weekend that shows the dash with the pillars and as much other stuff as I can.
Yes, the upholstery shop did the logos on the door trim pieces.
SilverSRT8 05-04-2007, 04:41 PM I will buy your Jeep when you sell it!
T-Time 05-04-2007, 04:46 PM After looking at these pics. I went out and relooked at the stock interior... One word PLASTIC...
Goldengreek5 05-04-2007, 05:03 PM Looks UNBELIEVABLE!!! Very nicely done Greg!!
OurZoo 05-04-2007, 09:14 PM Badazz dude!
slow91 05-05-2007, 08:20 AM Very nice work. Just not feeling the headliner....seems like a little too much for my taste. The rest of the interior......SUPERB.
Krush 05-05-2007, 12:06 PM I wish I knew a shop in Chicago that could do quality work like that. I was going to have Zen do some work, but I've set things up with him for thousands in work 3 times, only to get no called back 3 times. Ge2 I love your ride, but envy your connections the most.
SI_G35Coupe 05-05-2007, 06:12 PM maybe a stupid question, but doing something like this causes no issues with the airbags in the seats or the curtain bags from the ceiling, right?
2KLEN4U 05-05-2007, 09:38 PM That looks Dead Sexy!~!! Any updated pic's?
2KLEN4U
nope.... the airbag stuff is never touched in this process.
Go~RillaWRX 05-07-2007, 07:50 AM My favorite part is the piano black stuff. You have any idea how they did that? I think i have a pretty good interior place, if i could tell them the process, they could do it.
srt8hotrod 05-07-2007, 07:55 AM Thats Sweet, Great Improvement, I Bet That Was Some$$$$$$$$$$$:)
All of my piano black stuff was done via hydrographics (http://www.patterntek.com) but I'm sure with just sanding, priming, painting, and clearing, you could get the same results.
jlandbl 05-07-2007, 09:45 AM That sure is unique. Looks awesome. Best looking interior on the Jeep I've seen yet.
mrfreeze 05-07-2007, 08:01 PM like the carbon look matchs well with the steering wheel and shift knob patterns...how much that all that run you...?
kramsay1234 05-08-2007, 09:43 AM Sweet Azz...
Anxiously await the next chapter.
SRT-8RAT 05-09-2007, 08:55 AM That is great.
The truck should of came like that stock.
Fluffhead 05-10-2007, 03:23 PM Beautiful job :D
parkstephen 05-10-2007, 07:55 PM When and if I get mine...i'll be doing some of the same. Especially adding leather to the top of the door panels (suede like the inserts), around the door handles and switches, and MAYBE the entire top of the dash.
Not sure about the headliner...but maybe.
Looks rockin!
YoungMedic23 10-14-2008, 02:52 AM Retro bump for the cleanest headliner IMO
Vinnysrt8 10-14-2008, 05:50 AM it looks very sharp
Johnnyd773 10-14-2008, 01:11 PM anyone know who i would talk to about doing something like this, I want my whole interior black, to match the seats
Matt McKenzie 10-14-2008, 01:25 PM I think Fully Loaded Automotive does a nice Suede interior...........

OneBadJeep 10-14-2008, 06:43 PM Does that handle grip handle on the front A-pillar come off so you can tuck under it??
DevssrT 10-14-2008, 06:48 PM Wow....what a sick interior....yet again..HOW MUCH!?!?!
HOJeepster 10-14-2008, 07:23 PM I don't know how much it costs, but I do know Car Nutz in Bellevue, Wa did it for greg, and I believe he send the dash to Florida to get painted? Maybe Ge2 could chime in to verify that.
Here is Car Nutz's info:
http://www.carnutz.cc/
Talk to Joel. He'll know what it cost to run this set up.
As far a durability - **** is bullet proof. And of course, it feels sweet rolling in a nice truck both inside and outside.
HOJeepster 10-14-2008, 07:24 PM Does that handle grip handle on the front A-pillar come off so you can tuck under it??
I believe the removed the entire A pillar because they painted the handle black as well as coated the vinyl with carbon.
I asked to see if they could do the top of the dash carbon to tie in the rest but yeah...$$$$$$
HOJeepster 10-14-2008, 07:27 PM HOW MUCH!!!

I asked to see if they could do the top of the dash carbon to tie in the rest but yeah...$$$$$$
I'm suspose to suede my interior this weekend and the A-pillar is keeping me from doing it because I would half to fill that hole where the handle is or do what you did which I didn't think was possible. How does that paint look like up close? Any orange peel? Did they wet sand it? Was it spray paint or a paint gun? I want to paint the top peace black you did. Did you paint all your handles....

Paint looks perfect on the dash and handles. The mirrors on the sun visors and the console in the headliner does have a feel bubbles...nothing terrible. All handles front and rear are painted.
I have no idea about wet sanding, etc etc.
Call Car Nutz Customz for details.
OneBadJeep 10-15-2008, 02:05 PM I am dropping my A-pillars off tonight to start the process. I will post pic's when everything is done......I have to thank you for getting your **** done because now I have to step it alittle. They have helped me allot because I was going to fill the gaps on the pillars. Now IM NOT....
HOJeepster 10-18-2008, 01:52 PM I was told 20-30 hours of labor for those inquiring...
OneBadJeep 10-19-2008, 11:37 AM Mine is getting done as we speak, I am pretty sure my guy is doing it in 15-20 or less with suede. I will post pics tonight when I get it back....
