Anyone pull against the new M3 stock? My buddy who is a honda guy say "No Way" can the Jeep pull on one.
I agree that 70 or 80 to 120 or 130 they will pull on me but I think the Jeep would lay it down 0-60 on a new M3 (in straight line ONLY). Am I way off?

M3 will take a stock Jeep unless the owner can't drive, which is probably the case more times than not :D. But seriously, I think they are suppose to run around 12.7 @ 113 stock, 0-60 mid 4s.
But to be fair I've never raced one to find out.

They will Dust a stock JEEP int the 1/4 as for the 0-60 is in the Same 4.6 Range , but since not to many can drive , the Jeep will dust it every time from light to light :D
Here's part of and article I found !!
The M3's excellence is such that it transcends performance data, but for what it's worth, the numbers aren't too shabby either. With a 0-60-mph sprint of 4.6 seconds and a 12.7-second quarter-mile, this Bimmer can keep pace with a Porsche 911 in a straight line. If the road gets curvy, the M3's up for a fight as well, thanks to its balanced and capable chassis. At the same time, the M3 suspension tuning is relaxed enough for the daily commute, its cabin is well constructed and full of available high-tech goodies, and you can even get a sedan version if you're looking for one car that will do it all. Try as we might, we have a hard time finding ways in which the M3 does not impress.

Heres a test with a corvett & M3 its a good read. The M3 curb wt is 1231 lbs lighter than ours and with there 414 hp if were not modded we lose. Most of us in here can beat 1 as theres a lot of jeeps going in the 12.70s and faster modded. You have to remember a lot of these test are done with a 5th wheel not at the track.

HERES A DYNO TEST AS IT PUT OUT 376 HP TO THE WHEELS.

The dyno test shows it only lost 10% to the wheels as most lose 15% on a 2 WH DYNO. In this case if you use the 15% lose there real hp is 432.40 at the flywheel hehe.

BMW has launch control. As long as the driver knows how to engage it the system will do the best with the available surface. Wouldn't want to put much money on the Jeep to win, but would be alot of fun to play around and if nothing else make the BMW driver really sweat. You could do like the old Pinks show and have him give you a length and then really dust him.

Stop light to stop light, Jeep would win in most cases as the M3 owners most definately would have wheel spin issues. Also, while the 0-60 times are somewhat similar, the 0-10, 0-20, 0-30, etc times for the Jeep would be much better due to gearing and AWD. This simple fact would make the M3 driver even more likely to spin his wheels as the jeep would pounch from the start.

I think the race will end up as it did above. Same if not more power to wheels as the Jeep but over 1K lighter. Nice cars.

Thanks for the advice. I would expect the exact thing to happen as shown on the vid. The question in my mind is how long will it take the M3 to run me down...
I will just have to find somebody with one!
