I'm at 2924 mileage, and ready to change the life blood. I've seen some discussions on different types and weights people are currently running. Can anyone give me a little advise on what to get.

mobil1 0w40. if you run the engine prior to changing the oil, put in 6 quarts, not the 7 that's officially specified. check the oil level the next morning to be sure you didn't underfill.

I just went with the factory recommended 0W-40 Mobil1.

I stuck with the moble1. If allowed to drain completly it should take almost 7qts. Mine took about 6.8 last time. Dump in 6, check, fill with the 7th.

I use the factory recommended Mobil 1.

Amsoil 5W-40 European synthetic. Engine seems to like it
but will do an oil analysis at the next change to make sure.
