Went to Milan Dragway in Milan, MI yesterday evening for Test-n-Tune. I had slightly under a half-tank of gas in the truck and the weather was beautiful settling in the mid-60's.

I made 4 passes total, all new personal bests for me. First pass right off the highway I ran a 13.43 @ 101.59 w/ a 1.87 sixty-foot. I let her cool for about 15 minutes and ran again, this time netting a 13.34 @ 102.47 w/ a 1.87 sixty-foot. I let it cool down again for about 30 minutes, however the vehicle in front of me broke down as I was getting ready to make my pass, and instead of shutting the engine off and waiting, I completely forgot and the temp needle was sitting at 215 again... 13.39 @ 101.52 w/ a 1.88 sixty-foot.

Finally, I hopped back into line, but this time there were so many cars that by the time I got back up to the front of the lanes, the slick cars, the bikes, and the junior dragsters had thier turns as well. Truck sat for roughly 45-50 minutes. I got up to the tree and when the lights dropped I cut a 1.82 sixty-foot on a .508 light. End result:

13.25 @ 102.69 <- Bone stock. :D

Here is the time-slip:

Congrats man... nice numbers.
You mentioned you cut a light of .508 but the timeslip shows .08, maybe a type-o on your end.
BTW, what ran on the left lane was a car not an SUV right? I can tell by his 60' and then the 1/4 mile time and trap speed. What was it?
Edit: Time to update sig again.

I'm guessing they show the time he reacted above the perfect reaction time of .5.

I.E. If he had a 5.37 reaction time, they would have listed .37.

Houston is right on the Reaction Time. The track shows your time above or below a PERFECT .500 light.

The car next to me during that pass was a supercharged Grand Prix.

Congrats on the good and consistent times. How did you leave the line? Did you brake-torque any? Did you leave it in Drive or did you Autostick?

At HRP (Houston Raceway Park) the reaction time slot used to show a perfect light as .500..........now the "new" way it's displayed is a perfect light is .000

Cool thanks, I was little
You always learn something new every day, I never heard of the "old" way before.

As far as launch technique... - Traction Control off, tap the gas to rev it up till the truck "grunts" and gets ready to leap... let it settle back to idle, and just wait for the light. I was in AutoStick mode for all the passes.
