So I went in to work a couple nights ago, I work at a refinery so needless to say there is always heavy traffic in the parking lot so when driving the beast I always park all the way to the rear of the parking lot, diagonally and take up two spots. So I'm driving to my usual spot and, lo and behold, there is another red rock parked in my spot, exactly how I usually park. I dunno how I'm feeling about this as I had the only red beast locally, there are about 4 blacks, 1 gray, 1 blue and 1 white SRTDesign. I can deal with all the other colors but another red...especially at my job sharing the same parking area, I dunno. Mine is debadged, slightly tuned and modded, his is bone stock but with the fishing rod antenna and people still get them crossed. Should I be pissed or pleased that there is a new local SRT8, what you guys think?

U should be pleased.
There is not a lot of JEEP SRT around.
But, u should be pissed if he starts modding the Beast to the point that it's faster than yours.
Then you'll have to out do him. hehehe

Better watch your wife at the company picnic! Kidding of course. Someone just really liked your Jeep. Honestly, it would bug me a little, but I'd get over it. There is a silver Srt8 Jeep in my city....a friend of mine....his Jeep is modded, loud, and has a medic hood....people get us mixed up all the time...

Funny tho...whenever he gets pulled over...my friends ask me why did i get stopped and i'll just be hanging out at work or sometimes they'll do something crazy and drive up by him and notice it's not me a feel stupid lol

So you're saying the parking lot has heavy traffic, but isn't completely full? Because anyone who parks diagonally across two parking spots is just asking to have their truck keyed to the high heavens.

My take is 'make a new friend', introduce him to the forum, encourage him to 'be different' :) I always feel it's better to embrace it than to let it burn inside you. No reason for that, life's way too short, way too fragile to waste the energy on it, ya know?

I am so bad, I have put people out of the beast for things like slamming the doors, pushing buttons or interfering with my stereo equipment. There was this one chick that started acting up in the beast and chose to attempt to drop it in reverse while I was doing about 60, she was promptly thrown out.

Not entirely. That area is where all the toyz park; the usual gamut of WRXs, Evos, Hondas and Chevy 1/2 tons on 26s. The mentionables are the SRTs, a supercharged Mustang GT, a supercharged Mustang Cobra SVT, a twin turbo BMW and a twin turbo Audi RS6. No real chance of keying, unless from a hater in general.

I think the thread title should be changed to, "SHOULD I BE PISSED OR SHOULD I GET HER NUMBER?". Lol. If I see another SRT somewhere, I try to park next to it to make the point of, if we're already a rare breed, lets let everyone enjoy the sight of two in the same place. Lol.

I would love it if another SRT Jeep owner came to my work! I wouldn't care if he had the same color either. Just my out look.
