: Crappy phone cam pics of new upholstery
I'll get better pics tomorow when they drop the car off with me, but here are some little shots. It's the same carbon fiber pattern vinyl that I used on the door inserts.
Center of console lid, centers of the 4 headrests, seat inserts, pillars, headliner, and front window control plates.

Mango 05-02-2007, 01:28 PM Hey thats neat! Looks like a very quality job.
Street WK 05-02-2007, 01:34 PM Love it! :)
nyjpny 05-02-2007, 01:39 PM looks real good is it soft or feel hard material?
Nice and soft. That is one of the original reasons I chose it for the door tops.
barho 05-02-2007, 01:48 PM Looks very nice, Greg.
But, isn't the purpose of the suede inserts, that come standard, to keep the driver and passenger from sliding around when putting it to the test so to speak? Don't the new inserts defeat the purpose??
I know your more of a visual mod guy, so I am sure you don't mind, but just thought I'd ask.
BTW - #400!!!!!!!!! WOOHOOOOO!!!!
Yes, you are exactly right-- that is the purpose of the suede. I just didn't really like it all thaat much. I thought it felt cheap and rather papery. Though when I just felt it (out of the seat) it was much thicker and nicer than I gave it credit for.
Still.... as you said, I'm a visual guy. If I have to take a corner at 90mph (about the only reason I could see needing to be 'stuck' to my seat), I'll just rely on the excellent bolsters. Or I guess I could start driving with no pants on, so my sweaty legs could stick to the vinyl.
Looks very nice indeed. Cant wait to see pics when you pick it up. If you dont mind me asking whats the ballpark figure it cost to get that done. Kudos and love your ride.

slow91 05-03-2007, 01:09 PM Nice work. Can't wait to see the high res pics....:)
SI_G35Coupe 05-03-2007, 05:23 PM looks extremely sweet!
i think one of my first orders of business when i get the Jeep would be a headliner similar to that of my brother's BMW X5... they call it the "anthracite headliner" option... it's some sort of black cloth.
the dark upper half of your car really brings out the light grey leather, makes the interior look much better.
T-Time 05-03-2007, 07:41 PM Looks so Cool! I love the doors.. I can't wait to see better pics.. especially of the emblems on the upper doors..
Tight!

Excellent looking mod Greg!
Driving with no pants sounds like a great plan, I'll test and post pics ASAP.
