I've had the GSM CAI in my beast for about 11K miles now...and i haven't fiddled with it once yet.

Is there a time when i should replace/clean the air filter?

Assuming you have K&N filter, I think it is recommended to clean it every 40,000 miles. I have been told to check every 30,000. I usually clean it each spring.

And only rinse it out about 20 to 25 times then get a new one..

I just Googled it because I have an excessive amounts of free times some days :D
