This kit seems good in quality and appears to include the relays we need for flicker-free lights. What do you think? Any other suggestions?

Also, I have been reading about relays for these lights throughout the forum, and it seems like no matter what route I go, there won't be a plug and play solution...I will have to do some wiring for the relays? I am sooooo confused and would love some help with this. Thanks!

Now I get to take Mango on...:p

I did some reading on HIDPlanet before I got my Philips Kit and heard some negative reviews on McColloch. Of course I can't confirm any of them, so will simply say that the Philips seem to hold there own. Bulbs are tight to fit in without lubing the rubbers (hmmm) but this is to ensure water sealed beams.

Probably good with either. ...Lot of talk about tight fits, lube, headlights, and rubbers.

People have bad things to say about everything, and people have positive things to say. I will say, in my personal experience, I was not impressed with the Phillips kit at all. The color of the bulbs was extremely cheap to me, and I got flashed ALL the time while driving around.

To me, the McColloch kit looks very high quality in terms of build quality of the ballasts, bulbs, and light output. The bulbs fit right into their sockets and were actually designed to be much more "rigid" than the cheap Phillips bulbs.

This is my opinion.

And yes, all this talk about lube and rubbers = http://forums.offtopic.com/images/smilies/ky.gif

I offer a 2 year warranty, so hopefully that could give you piece of mind. And I am a fellow Grand Cherokee owner.
