oil change? I'm going on the 8th. thanks

if it's the same dealership u bought the car from than your 1st should be FREE

its close to $100. 7 qts of synthetic oil from a dealer is expensive.

My oil changes come to about $102.00 here in South Jersey.

Oh and make sure they NEVER rotate your tires on you. Jeep says to rotate them every 6,000 miles on Grand Cherokees, my dealership almost did it to me.

I remind them constantly every time I go in.

What? You do not want the 285's on the front?

Oil changes here are anywhere from 80-105. 6 months or 6K.

My dealer charges 97.20. Complete rip off. They charged me 10.15 per quart (Mobil 1 0W-40), the same can be bought for 5.99 per quart at Walmart. I started doing it myself for about 50.00. This decision was based more on the fact that the dealer put 1 too many quarts in on the 2nd oil change (8 instead of 7 - idiots). The same happened to me as Mango. They wanted to rotate the tires (idiots). There were no free oil changes by my dealer per Psycho's post.

$77 for me a couple weeks ago. Make sure they know SRT8s. And don't be afraid to tell them what to do. Chances are you know more about SRT8s than they do.

I do it myself so I wouldn't know. :)

That is a rip off. When I go in this weekend for my first and also free oil change I'm going to ask them if I can bring my own oil for future changes. :p
They won't be rotating my tires though........I'll have the locking lug keys in my pocket.:cool:

Buy the oil yourself. My first was around $98. I bought the oil and filter myself at Autozone and the dealership charged be $11 to do the work. Since I live in an apartment it's money well spent. Total was $66.

Both my Dodge and my Jeep dealer offers a free first oil change on their SRT8s. They also both charge around what you guys are talking about when it's not free. Do yourself a favor and save the coupons Jeep sends out. Call your dealer and ask them if they could do a little something something for ya with the coupon. After all the coupon gives non Hemis a discount, why can't they discount the Hemi oil change a bit for ya? I paid like $50 bucks at the dealer with a coupon. I felt that was totally reasonable! No tire rotation though...:)

No, its not the same dealer. i'm going to ask for next time, if i can supply the oil and filter. From the looks of it I'm thinking $100 bucks or so. thanks for the feedback.
