My wife and I are thinking about finding a used GCSRT8 and I'm seeing them in the $35-$37 range for '06s and $37-$40 range for '07s. I see a Dealer that does a lot of volume (on Ebay) has a non-Nav '07, brand new, for $38,500 (this includes the rebate and 1/2 holdback).

What is the "cash back" right now on them? Where, price-wise, can you buy them? I'm used to buying at Invoice or below depending on make/model but I'm not sure what you can do on the Jeeps.

Thanks for any info!

Bought mine 4 weeks ago - new from dealer, last day of month/quarter. Paid $40275 for SRT8 with Option 1 Package + Sunroof; only equipment missing was the nav and rear entertainment package which I didn't want anyway. Sticker was $43695. Even better, I phoned for 'cash price', then arrived with a trade-in and managed to get well over book on the trade (did pay the balance cash though), amazing what they'll do when you are prepared to walk away. I love playing the car buying game.

Jeep Warehouse offered the same truck via the internet at $40641, still an excellent price but the trade-in was proving tricky. Good luck, you'll love the truck.

So $38-$40k for a non-Nav and non-Rear Entertainment package seems about right.

Shouldn't it be relatively easy to find a used '06 with low miles in the $34k range, max? If they were any more used it would make sense to buy a one year newer brand new model for just a few thousand more...

GOT MY 07 FOR 43.5, worth every penny knowing I broke it in and I'm doing the maintenance properly and on time. oh, and no brake noises yet (crossing my fingers on that one though.)

I paid 44,100. for a 2007 with every option. 3 weeks ago 10 miles on the odometer.
But no door sills, or pedal covers, they were not on the window sticker.

I bought my 07' for invoice in March...I would wait to see if EP pricing comes out for the 07's as the 08' orders are not too far around the corner...That is if you are not in a hurry. The only problem with buying an 08' is that the anticipated 6.4 maybe here for the 09' model year plus you will wait a long time before any aftermarket tuners come out with a flash. Best bet, if saving money is your gig...buy an 06' with limited miles.

Weedo - you need to remember they only make around 3,000 units each year. In fact, if you count only the US units, less than that were made in 06, so, while you could hunt for one in the $34K range, it won't be easy to find one in that range with less than, say, 20,000 miles or more on it.
