Just give the jeep ample time to cool off, ice it down I dont care how cold it is outside you want to cool the inside of the intake manifold take a thermal scanner and dont make your first pass until the entire manifold is in the 80 degree range or lower also check the forecast for the day it should give you temps and humidity reading...pick the time where the temp is the lowest and the humidity is the lowest at the same time, if you only see a drop of 5 degrees in temps but a 15% increase in humidity its better to run in the warmer there is a point were cooler temps are negated by humidity. When you stage dont hesistate to go back in forth in the staging lane, nothing irriates me more than to cool off for a few hours, weather is great and spin off the line and now the jeep is all hot again...make em count. If the staging area is fairly dry and it gets really cold keep the air pressure up in the tires for traction (yeah goes against logic but it works). Wish I could be there.

No PB :( , Took me almost 3 hours to get there and i think heat soak killed me as i got there late plus all them F*** rices making the waiting lane almost 30 min to make a pass , and what happened to my 40 degree temp :rolleyes: 65 degree night sucked , Plus i spun in all my runs cuz they wouldn't allow me to do a burn out pass the the tree WTF :confused: .
