Hey guys!!!
After a 4 hour stint at the dealer yesterday working out the final numbers, I officially own a 2007 fully loaded to the T... Black GC SRT-8!!!!
Yes....Black! I was originally going for RED ROCK but they sold the only RED ROCK they had in stock about 3 days before.
Black is soooo beautiful when it's clean...but such a pain to maintain...... I know I had a black SVT Lightning before.
Anyways, I got her w 3 miles yesterday evening and added another 50-lol.
I'll post some pics tonight, going to get front 2 windows tinted up right now.
All I can say is..... WOW! This thing is so bad ass, went to Autozone to pick up a cleaning supplies and a drop in K&N last night, when I had the guy at the counter find my filter he started asking about the truck and even went outside to see it. Needless to say he was very impressed.

The JGC will turn heads where ever you go! (Great color also)! Every time I go to Autozone, the counter empties into the parking lot.

Congrats - welcome aboard. I saw a Black SRT8 with the front windows tinted (and I know someone here blacked out the crome trim with tape) and it was menacing as hell. My Inferno was right next to his and I have to admit, I did have a slight pang of jealousy because the cool factor was off the charts. But my inferno made me feel better because as everyone here knows, red is the fastest color... something about a lower coefficient of drag raised to the second power divided by the standard deviation of the price of fuel..... Upgrade the catback, I have Corsa and like it alot. You'll find a lot of experience here, good luck and happy speeding!!

Cool mang, I'm happy for ya. I know it must have been a painful wait. Black looks sooo eemazing clean, just a pain keeping it that way. I washed my Black Charger in the morning yesterday and wiped her down again last night before I tucked her in for bed.:D

You dropped the K&N quicker than me. My store didn't have it in stock. I had to wait 24 hrs.

Sorry to hear you weren't able to get the FASTEST color ( RedRock ). I beat Black ones daily. Ha Ha! Hey you go ahead and enjoy it anyway...

When you tromp it, The sound reminds me of being at the tractor pulls when I was a kid.

Not yet...I live in small apt building. I have it covered pretty good cause i have a spare car im using to block out my Jeep from door dings. Also it's parked less than 50ft from my door so.... all i really have to worry about is maintaning that beautiful black paint swirl free and clean.

Wheel locks coming up tonight but i was thinking of holding off since I'm installing the autopage alrm with the 1 mile paging feature, but I guess they can't hurt. Zaino is also on the shopping list. I'll try my best to post pics tonight... already took a few just have to figure out how to post them on here.
