I hope that was a joke???? That jeep has like 550hp...it looks like that because its launching so hard its about to lift the wheels off the ground.

No, it wasn't a joke. I couldn't tell from the picture. I thought it was just getting ready to stage since the other car didn't look disfigured. I've seen a video of his car before and PRE BRAKE TORQUING it has a lean to it.

It does that because the rear springs are fairly soft for off road flexability. You are witnessing torque flex on the rear springs. Most likely, the way this thing was built, if it didn't flex like that things would be breaking off the line.. :D My Cherokee does the same thing off road. Obviously less extreme, but with the lift and stiffer springs, I have already sheared the right side motor mounts off flush with the block. There is so much torque, it sliced the bolts like butter.

It would be hilarious to see that jeep come crusing to the track from the woods, covered in mud. Then go right to the staging line, do a wicked burnout and a 10.8 1/4 mile, then go back into the woods! lol

LOL! That's why I think there should be a lift kit and knobbies available for our SRT8's.

That thing is wicked.

I believe this is with no nitrous. From what I understand he just started using nitrous to go from low 11s to high 10s.

Here is a video of another 5.9 stroked to a 6.7 with a supercharger.

yeah, it is. I've had that problem with youtube. Watch this video of my 5.9, the sound is clearly about half a second back as you see the point at which the tranny shifts on the tach and then you hear it shift shortly after... oh well
