Best $75 i've spent so far on this truck.

Highly recommended for anyone who owns an SRT8.

Unless you like your rear brakes squealing like a pig.

cheers

I think it's good for $ 75 but I heard that it has a huge amount of brake dust.So what to say about that?

well...it's only been 2 days but regardless. my wheels have a good coat of sealant on them and it doesn't matter how much dust they make.....it's a minor tradeoff to get rid of the squeal.

I coated my shims with the rubber brake disc compound everyone mentions and it's held up quite nicely for the past year. I'm happy with it. If it starts squealing again I will be trying the CTS-V pads. That's my next option but hopefully it won't come to that.

Can you please tell me the brand of the rubber disk brake compound. Mine were replaced by the factory already and still they squeal like a freight train and they are brand new.

Also installed the CTS V Brembo pads today. The difference to the stock pads is a thin stainless steel sheet with copper paste on both sides. This should eliminate the squealing

Rez, did you use the brembo supplied anti-squeal paste? Or something off the shelf. I'm swapping out to the CTS brembos next week, I can't wait.
