How do you go about getting these things to shine up? A gravely winter and a 140 lbs corso has all my mats frigged right up- crazy scratches showing after cleaning. What product can you use that wont make them slippery as all hell? I tried using armor all on the rear cargo mat last year, thinking that who cares if it is slippery- but the groceries and dog were sliding around in the back like it was an ice rink. Thoughts?

I've used Stoner trim, plastic, and rubber shine with good results. Have to be carefu though and use a moderate amount. I layer it on.

Yeah I am not happy with how the mats clean up. The set of winter mats in our mini were cheaper to buy and "weathered" much better. Not impressed with these WeaterTechs - won't buy again.

I think the trick to keeping them looking good is to hose them off one a week. I do and the mats still look great. Got them 1.5 years ago too.

I'll have to ask my shop what they used, had the mats in my Jeep looking like new after they cleaned them over the winter. And they were very, very dirty.

I just received a set of slush mats from ************.com. They look nice and at reasonable price. The Jeep logo is on them. They might be a mopar product. All four mats for $70. I'll let you kne how they wear. Mike
