Tommy - nice stable. Again, love the SS and the Caddy looks great. If that is an actual pic of your CBR, then you have some simple modding to do. Gotta get rid of that ugly fender and swap out those signals for flushies. But nice bike...;)

Thanks. It's a matching numbers big block 455 stage1. I bought it back in 1988 in Sacramento. The motor is pretty much stock. 1 over cam, ported heads, Headers etc. It's never been dynoed. I pretty much just baby it and drive it on weekends. The color used to be red. But the factory red was horrible. So I went with a stratimist blue. Turbo 400 tranny, 10bolt rear-end with 3:42's. 17" American Racing Torque Thrust II's with Nitto tires.

Off the line, my GCSRT8 would kill it, but the GS would close in and make it interesting at the end. :)

My cars.

I'm quite proud of my collection, considering I'm turning 27 on Tuesday.

Bought the Camaro SS 30th Anniversary Edition when I worked as a Police Officer in town. Only did that for 2 years, became very miserable and depressed. Went back to college, a BA and Associates later I"m now teaching and never looked back!

Here is what is hiding in that garage in the background. It's for sale if anyone is interested.

My Dad would like to get $180,000
427 cu.in./ 435hp 6-pack
F-41 Suspension
etc. etc.

Fully restored, numbers matching, documented in Nolan Adams Corvette Restoration Guide, tank sticker, etc.

This is the only car I've ever been in....that scares me. When those vacuum pots open up, it feels like the car pulls back on two wheels. The entire car shakes when you start it! And continues to vibrate while driving around. I love the sound of the solid lifters and side pipes. I can't believe these things were crusing around on the streets some 40 years ago. Must have been an amazing time!

Thanks Mango!

Yes, they're ML subs. I chose them becuase they are "fast" and designed to integrate well with ribbons and stats. I really like ML speakers (I owned 3 pairs in the past) but they do not work well with my Tact pre-amp (Room Correction System, which measures and corrects in room freq response, phase and time allignment). The MLs are di-polar and the Tact does not like "reflected" sound.

As for separates for theater purposes I'd say the 3 best systems out are Tact, Theta and Anthem. Tact will not work well with your speakers but does full room correction for 10.3 channels . Theta has one of the best audio sections in the world and the Anthem D2 has the best video processing/upscaling period.

I know this is a car forum, sorry for the audio hijack.
