: Add an SRT8 logo?
whiskey 04-28-2007, 06:08 PM to the front somewhere? Has anyone added an SRT8 badge to the front grill like the ones on the Charger SRT8's?
Do you think the ones from the Charger would attach to the lower air intake area?
tommy25000 04-28-2007, 09:57 PM I put one over my jeep logo on my steering wheel, half for fun, half because i hate the logo that was there

it will but you will need to shave down the rear protrusion from the badge with a dremel. Not the actual rear clips but the one single stub on the rear.
whiskey 05-01-2007, 04:26 PM I think this will work quite nicely, thanks for the help!
OurZoo 05-02-2007, 12:39 AM The Jeep logos were a must to debadge, but:

I like adding the SRT8 badges to the sides like you did. But when I stopped at the dealer to pick up a couple, I was quoted $64.10 plus tax for EACH! Now with my discount they are only $45 EACH, but that is still too much. I know they only cost about $1 to make. I got similar Audi 4.2 trunk badges for $9 each. Is there a cheaper source for these badges?
Also, I plan to remove the Jeep logos front and back. Do they just come off by heating with a hair dryer? Thanks--Bob

$60 for a decal? Hold on, let me hand over the vaseline before I bend over.
I don't need to advertise my rig is special from the front or side . . . when they see the rear end for a flash, they'll have their chance then to figure out what the f*** I'm drivin'.

Thanks for the info. Unfortunately they also sell them for about $60 each--plus shipping. Seems high for a small piece of plastic that I know costs about $1 to make. I am surprised no enterprising entrepreneur hasn't begun producing them already. I will check e bay and maybe not get any.:( ..Bob
OurZoo 06-13-2007, 04:07 PM Got both on Ebay for $45 bucks awhile back. Keep looking and they will be there one day.
2007GCSRT8 06-14-2007, 10:27 AM I also did the side emblems. I paid about $32.50 each. Put an ad in the wanted section on this forum. I did that and found 2 of them within a couple days. Just have the people PM you so someone doesn't get them before you.
Bob, yes, a hair dryer to the "jeep" letters will get them off. Hold the dryer on each letter for about a minute. Then take some dental floss or monofiliment fishing line and go behind the letters to get them off. I used WD40 to get the glue residue off. No scratches or staining of any sort.
Good luck.
Rob
laxpaint5 06-14-2007, 07:25 PM has anyone seen molding to replace on the side that says srt8 instead of grand cherokee

AGray34 06-15-2007, 02:40 PM I found some SRT-8 logos on Google Product Search at a very good price, maybe 30 shipped? It came in a Mopar plastic packaging too. I also bought my Borla S through Google Product Search as well :)
