: What do you think an 09 is worth?
lxtassy88 04-05-2010, 11:34 PM Ok I found an 09 at a local dealer, loaded 1,2 nav, rear entertainment no kicker though. It has high miles for the year (33,000) . They want 35900. I am trying to work on what they will give me for my 2 week old ram with 500 miles on it. What do you think is fair for the truck since the warranty is about gone? I was thinking 33,000. Any thoughts? Thanks
BOYCHIKS 04-05-2010, 11:41 PM I would say $33k is about right, maybe $33.5.
What about extending the warranty?
Or making them give you more $$$ for your trade?
WBSRT 04-05-2010, 11:42 PM WIth that amount of Mileage its about time for new brakes & tires , Diff fluid, front and rear axle fluid change , so make sure that taken car of.
lxtassy88 04-05-2010, 11:57 PM Tires appear to have been replaced, havent driven it yet to even check for the "shimmy" I am looking to see how much I can get them up on my truck and then beat them on the price.
compunow 04-06-2010, 04:22 AM Brand new a year ago you could have bought it for $40 flat. 33,000 miles and a year later it should not be worth more than $28. For $5 or $6 more you could have a 2010 with no miles. My 2 cents.
pjs1965 04-06-2010, 06:52 AM The mileage is high for such a 'young' vehicle. $30k is a fair price IMO. Check around locally for a new 2010 and see what pricing you can get for it then use that as leverage with this dealer. If they're motivated to move it, they will work with you. If not, work on getting a 2010 or find a less mileage 2009 (I think there's 2 listed in the For Sale section here plus a 2010 with 1800 miles).
Good luck!
jim383 04-06-2010, 06:58 AM The hi is 43,000 the low is 36,600 with those options and miles.
lxtassy88 04-06-2010, 09:44 AM I can buy one with my EP pricing(I work for Chrysler) right now for around 38,300. I just wont get anything on my trade cuz the dealer only makes about 1200 kick back from hrysler on an employee purchase. I think I will wait a few months put down the cash and pick up a new one if they are still any left
Darkside 04-06-2010, 01:13 PM How strange is that the numbers being thrown out are 30-33k, yet there are still owners with 06's wanting over 30k.

I hear you on that.. lol
But you have to remember that there isn't an SRT Jeep on every corner. I mean on ebay there is under 20, combined with all the years. And about 200 on cars.com
That isn't a lot.
But you really have to find one in good shape, and that could really determine the price. Also the options it has. just my .2
J&D's SRT's 04-07-2010, 03:21 AM Ok I found an 09 at a local dealer, loaded 1,2 nav, rear entertainment no kicker though. It has high miles for the year (33,000) . They want 35900. I'd say for the mileage that's kinda high. Bought both my 09's a year ago, brand new, for just over 40 a piece & stickers were 51+ on both. That being said on KBB (over priced I know) dealer retail is 50k on an 09 with 5000 miles.
lxtassy88 04-09-2010, 01:46 AM They have called me as they now want my brand new Ram. I told them I would do a straight up swap as I paid 31400 for the Ram three weeks ago and it stickered at 41. First they wanted 5 grand plus my truck. i told them to go F**K themselves. Then the guy tells me well you only paid 31 for your truck, so I said SOOOOOOOOOOO that has nothing to do with what it is worth, lol. Now he called and theyll do it for 1500 and my truck, I said NOPE straight up or no deal. I just figured if I traded it would be like I bought the 09 for 31400 which would be fair in my mind. But like I said, I think I will just save my pennies, in a few months locate a new 2010 with the 5/100000 warr and swap then. THE DAMN SRT8 BUG IS STILL THERE. the sad pat is my wife said she understands why I want another Jeep since I sold mine, should just bit the bullet and bought a new srt8 from the get go,haha
lxtassy88 04-15-2010, 10:27 PM They called again today see If I would move, NOPE. I bet I get that truck straight up,lol we will see.
lxtassy88 04-17-2010, 02:08 AM Double checked my price on a loaded up 10' Sticker 49295, my price 38,229. Now have to find a dealer that will give me enough for the RAM and I think we will be good to go :)
