Hey whats up Im about to get the Srt8 Cherokee! On Monday!
and i never driven one before and i just wanted to know one thing.

(I also own a SS Trailblazer and that truck has an corvette engine. 390hp
and i hear that the srt8 jeep will beat the trailblazer ss. But it wont damolish the trailblazer. What do you suspect in a chevy the company has good quality of vehicles)

Im hearing rumors about the srt8 jeep is heads up with the 2006/07 Corvette
now i know about cars and i know for a double fact that the srt8 wouldnt beat the corvette. But when the Srt8 jeep came along and i started hearing things about it. It was a big shock. So i just wanted to know have anyone raced a 2006/ 07 corvette and i just want to know a review about the race

When I went to buy mine, I was all set once we got the numbers straight, I was more concerned with going home with it as soon as possible than a test drive that would have only prolonged the painful process of having to wait an additional 15-20 minutes or so. The salesman thought it would be a good idea while they went over my trades, so I obliged him...

Don't get me wrong, if I wanted a test drive and they said no, probably would have been a different story. That's no way to sell a car, and there's definitely some dealers out there that have a no test drive policy on SRTs.

Oh yeah, I almost forgot, welcome and congratulations!

There are definitely a fair share of Jeep SRT street racing legends on the internet. One of the biggest things the SRT has going for it is its stealth. Not everyone picks up on that beautiful center mounted dual exhaust and that badge that says SRT8 and that's left more than one Vette, 'Stang (insert the car of your choice here) at a stoplight with a very confused look on their face. Enthusiasts that know the Jeep/SRTs might have a clue, but from a dig, stoplight to stoplight, you're gonna hand most people their azz...

On the highway, I'm not buying the whole flying brick thing. I had a beautiful wide open merge onto a 4 lane highway yesterday with a law enforcement friend of mine directly behind me. I ran from about 45 to 110 from the on ramp and shut it right down and couldn't stop laughing when he pulled up alongside of me with his mouth wide open :eek: !

Tuning's a whole other story, which is something that Chevy/Ford has DCX beat down on in the aftermarket, big time! Speed costs money, it's just with these rides how fast you want to go is gonna cost you more than it would for them...

05 vette yes it would be a drivers race. I could not find 0-60 or 1/4 mile times for the 06 or 07 NON Z06.

2005 4.91 seconds from 0 to 60 mph, and 13.27 seconds through the quarter-mile at 110.3 mph.

I can tell you i pulled an 03 auto from a roll of 30mph.

With our advantage out of the hole it is hard for any inexperienced driver to catch up, just due to them over revving mis-shifting etc. On the street from a dig most of these fast cars with RWD dont get traction and you have the advantage.

For the Z06 don't even waist your time or theirs. Your dead even if they cant drive. With my mods i hope to keep up with a stock Z06. HOPE!!!!
