cops seem to just sulk in jealousy when they see the srt8. Unless you're asking to get pulled over, you'll be fine

I've gotten pulled over three times in the past 4 months just for the cops to look at it. They pull me over using there lights and sirens. Thats insane. I alsways think i did something wrong. I think their just doing it to see if im running any illegal mods tho.

My Charger was getting hit monthly like clockwork! Actually one of the main reasons I got rid of it....

My 300c was getting profiled all the time too.........it was too bllingy tho....lol

Honestly this has been my least cop magnetic car so far.( hope that made sense haha). On the other hand i have a lowered dakota r/t thats yellow with straight pipes hahah that thing is a cop magnet.

I've been pulled over just so the Cop can ask me questions of the Beast it has happened once already.

I haven't been pulled over as of yet, but I'm sure my tails, front windows, or borla will get their attention one day.

I got pulled over right in front of my job one day by a cop on a motorcycle for taking off from a light too fast and the cop told me that I was wats wrong with NY. Needless to say he was quite angry with me...

cops just mainly look at it as they drive buy, CHP on the other hand like to pull me over for tinted front windows!

I thought I was gonna have a close encounter of the Colorado State Patrol kind earlier. I came around the back way to my favorite dig spot and did a few blasts to hear the new exhaust. The road is behind an elevated section and you can't see the highway until down where they meet up. But it's definitely within earshot. I come around the curve and see they have their weigh station setup. No way they didn't hear me. The trooper from the closest cruiser is standing beside his car just staring a hole through me. :eek: So I tried to make as little noise as possible pulling out on the highway. I was sure he was gonna come after me and do some yellin', but my house is right around the corner. So I shot into the garage ASAP, and closed the door. ;) They couldn't see me doing it, but it was obvious who was making the noise. Next time I scan the highway first.

But mostly cops don't give me a second look. They see Jeep and look away. Except for the SRT8 Charger equipped CSP troopers. They always look! But I check them out too. Their cruisers are killer!

It probably depends a bit on your area... Here in south FL my jeep seems to be well off the cop's radar. pun intended.. Which is good. They would cut off 3 lanes of traffic to follow my red NSX. So this shift is welcome.

FL is very mod friendly also so no worries there.

If you have a red jeep, you can get away..

They are the fastest :)

since ive had the borla they just stare at me like im some kind of criminal....only been pulled over once for tint but he let me go

I think the cops don't even notice the Jeep at all. They can't tell the difference between the SRT and regular ones.

I'v only been pulled over once, but I deserved it at the time, I was going 141 klm in a 80 zone.:eek::o

The SRT isn't nearly the cop magnet my Rally Blue 2004 Subaru WRX STI was. I got pulled over in that whip wayyyyyyyyyyy too many times!

I'm gonna have to say no on that one. I dont even give it a second thought but when I roll by a cop in my mustang or on the bike I worry a little.

This is my first hot rod ever. Only had it a few months.

Got pulled over once just doing a rolling launch from a tailgating Beemer. Got away with a warning.

Then the other day, was on the freeway and slowed down to pass a patrol car that had another vehicle pulled over. Gunned it after I passed them to get away from a tailgating somethin' or other. Cop looked straight at me I could see in the rear view mirror. I let off right away. But they caught up to me several miles later and ran my plates. Didn't pull me over though. So for me being inconspicuous all these years, its a bit of a hard adjustment.

I got pulled for doing 17 over going home from school before halloween. The cop loved the jeep, checked my engine out; literally talked for 20 minutes.
It was the end of the month and he said he had to give me a ticket. So I got "no front tag, illegal radar detector, and failure to obey hw sign."

Next time I'll speed at the beginning of the month. :lol:

I think most of us just dont realize we're speeding cause the jeep is pretty fast so we get busted from time to time. I know I personally have a lead foot so on the highway I always use cruise control to protect myself!

put 7k miles on mine since last summer when I picked it up and only got pulled over once up in Albany for 'no illumination on the rear plate' last month. Wrote me up for that and for the tint (let 17% through I think he said). I think you can get a separate ticket for the windshield being tinted, but he left me off on that and the front plate. Besides this trooper, who was cool besides the tickets and loved the rig, I have never even raised an eyebrow. I agree with whoever said its got a lot to do with where you live and how you drive.

Around home (Jackson, TN) only time I've gotten pulled over I deserved it, but in Memphis they are asses & LOVE pulling over murdered out ones, I guess it screams Drug Dealer!! Drug Dealer!! to them. One night, coming out of Memphis, I got harassed for 2.5hrs while he searched my Jeep & the more he looked and didn't find anything the more he got pissed.
