Some of the manuals have incorrect information...

The Correct procedure is:
1. Turn the ignition switch to the OFF position and buckle the driver's seat belt.
2. Turn the ignition key to the run position. Do not start the engine.
3. Wait for the seatbelt lamp to go out.
4. Unbuckle and buckle the seat 3 times within 10 seconds ending with the seatbelt buckled (be sure the seatbelt light cycles on/off while buckling).
5. Turn the ignition key off and a single chime will be heard to confirm the programming.

I've tried this procedure several times and it has not worked. I also looked in the manual for the procedure and did not see it listed. Does this work on 2007 models or just 2006?

Worked on my 05 but had to do it several times before it took. biggest thing to remember is to leave belt buckled at the end of the procedure before turning the key off.

It worked on my 07, and it worked in my wife's 05.
I'm surprised no one has made the comment about driving without the seat belt! FYI, yes...I must admit, I drive from my mailbox to my garage with it off.
