so from what i gather this is the last year GM will be making the gto and the trailblazer ss...... hmmm. i have mixed emotions. i like those trucks and i like the power those gto's produce for the money. its our only fight against the 32,000 evos and sti's... i wounder if those they will be worth some money in a few years from now? might have to buy me one!

I've heard rumors going both ways for the '08 GTO &TBSS. I thought the GTO was axed a while ago in favor of the new Camaro, but now the rumor is the Camaro is axed?(as well as all rwd V8's Zeta platform?) Myself, I just hope the Challenger gets made.

Aren't they completely redesigning the Trailblazer and the Envoy platform in either 08 or 09......meaning that they probably aren't gonna get rid of it, they are probably just going to redesign it completely with a whole new platform and maybe even a new name.......also the GTO platform is very similar to the camaro concept so that also might be the reason for that change.

I don't think the TBSS or the Jeep SRT are selling very well, here in Illinois you can get both under invoice.

I thought the GTO was just getting a re-design? With the new Grand Prix coming out based on another Australian platform, I was under the impression Pontiac was liking the sales of the GTO.

I know the Jeeps are selling very well for me! I move them at $500 under just so I can sell lots of them. As for the TBSS......who knows.

The GTO is gone from what i heard. I believe there will be a new G6 or G8 as its replacement. They have redone their whole GXP line they even have a sport SUV. But its not even compitition for the TB SS never mind the JEEP.

I hope you are still selling Jeeps in a few years, I plan to pick up an 09 SRT8. By then I will be out of college and living in a cardboard box, but I will have an SRT8.

In CO I have been seeing more Jeeps everyday and more at the dealership. They got 2 in the other day and both are gone now where I live

I hope they don't replace it with the G6 since the G6 is FWD. The G8 is the Gran Prix replacement and will be 4-dr, so I doubt that will be replacement unless they offer a 2-dr version as they have with past Gran Prixs. BTW, the G8 will be RWD and reminds me of a CTS-V.

You can't tell me that the lines of that car don't remind you of a CTS-V. I never said anything about the power or performance. :insert*****slapsmiley: :D

100% CORRECT the body lines are that of the CTS. Like i have said before GM and Ford need to get a bit more creative if they want to stay alive. Coping platforms year after year and changing front and rear panels just doesnt cut it.

I think GM is planning on producing the TB through 08 MY. Incredible considering how terribly dated it already is.

Tell ya what. That G8 is the first Pontiac I honestly really truely like both inside and out. The interior is very european if you ask me.

Yea the more all of the American companies take hints from Asian and Europe markets the better they will get. I don't anymore, but I did work on vehicles for 8-10 years straight and i will tell you the 90's did not say much for any American interiors. They are slowly getting better!
