Yesterday morning I put a deposit down over the phone on a 2010 Black SRT8 from the dealership that I got my last 2 GC's from. I have been wanting a SRT bad and I got the nod from the greatest wife ever... LoL


Anyway... So the Jeep is still in transit and expected at the dealership Monday. So last night while the house was quiet I stayed up ordering new toys for my new baby. I ordered the following:


Diablo Sport Predator w/USB
Volant Intake
MHP Shorty Billet Antenna = Color Wrinkle Black
Jet 180
Stant 18# Cap
Ventshades for the windows
Grand Cherokee SRT8 rear fog conversion kit
Jeep SRT8 HEMI Catch Can by Billet Technology - Red Anodize
- Black Braided Line Kit w/ Matching Color Fittings

LoL I think I got bit by some bug...

Anyway am I missing anything besides all the money I spent? Figured as a DD I want to do everything right from the beginning.

LoL, I just got rid of a lifted '07 w/Hemi it's going to take some getting used to the lower ride I think it will be a long time before I do anything that lowers this...Exhaust, well lets just say I came very close to ordering last night. As I said in the original post I have a great wife but I was trying to sneak some upgrades in right from the beginning ;) (Shh...she'll never know)

Yeah, I've been so busy over the past couple weeks checking what the first mods should be I forgot to check and make sure I can put everything on right away and when I can get on a Dyno and/or get her tuned up...Off to the Performance section for some reading... Hopefully it doesn't cost me anything tonight

I'd say you could add the BWoody sway bar links into the mix and she'll never notice.

They arent that expensive and people claim them to make the jeep handle quite a bit better. I have a set and need to install them so i can confirm that claim. =)

I thought heads/cam/headers/ported manifold was enough.... I was wrong. Soon im gonna need a blower, or a turbo.

Well I put 450 miles on it this weekend so as you all can tell instead of putting on the mods I was driving her around. I only did the really quick mods of the antenna and the rear fogs.

The funniest thing was tonight we took my wifes Laredo out and I kept on trying to do a 0-60 in under 24.7 seconds but it just wasn't happening :p

Ok, tonight I got my hands dirty and installed the Jet thermostat, Stant 18# cap, and my Volant CAI.

I then proceeded to hook up the Predator and unleashed the 91 CAI Canned Tune.

It was raining afterwards so I couldn't tell if I had any leaks but I think I was ok. Temperatures were running a lil hot until I burped her, I figure I will try burping tomorrow as well.

All and all a productive evening
