If your Uconnect is acting funny or your having phone pairing problems you may need a hard reset of the Uconnect system like I just did after working on my car and leaving the battery disconnected for a few days, I couldnt pair my phone to it.

1- Turn on ignition w/doors closed

2- Press both buttons on mirror for 15-20 seconds

3- Shut off ignition

4- Open door for 5-10 seconds

5- Close door and restart car, Uconnect is now reset

But this does work.

If you are on the West Coast you have to jump up and down on your left foot and if you are on the East Coast, the right.

That's about as complicated as the routine to turn off the seat belt dinger.
