Heres my rant for the month... I bought an 07 expecting a better vehicle....wrooooong - we have no fixes for anything, none seem to be coming anytime soon ( srt team about the trans downshift problem ) - dealers wont slap on 06 tsbs' on the 07's. Tuning ??? nah forget that, seems like dc needed to change the b.s. programming once again so that it'll take B & G another year to get us a tune. Is the quality better of the car ?? naw, have you ever seen the difference up close between the 07 and 06 tailight wiring ??? COSTCUTTING BABY !!! that is the DC way....cough headlight covers...cough door sills...I'm sorry but as being an 07 owner I wish that I just got an 06 and saved some $$$$....maybe 08's will be better???? oh wait there is no black clear coat because it'll be cheaper for dc to replace the nice black color with MSB ( Monkey Sh*t Brown cough black pearl ) of course because they use this on all the other cars and its cheaper to junk the black clear they only use on the 06 & 07 GC SRT8....--...ok i'm done :)

:D After seeing the color change (no inferno do to cost issues) and no door sills, and little things like the plastic parts they dont put under the hood for the head lights makes me glad I have the 2006!!! What else did they do that we have no idea about!

I have an 07' and have had similar feelings on the TSB/B&G chip...no go!

I love my black color, I hope not to ever see a "Monkey Sh*t Brown" SRT anytime soon...razorecko has point here along with a few others, just expressed it the old Irish way....Cac capaill!

I thought that the shifting was on all newer vehicles!?!? I have one that made date was 3/2007 and they told me that it had the tsb installed!!

Ours is a late-build 2006, and we didn't get the headlight covers either.

I have said the following in another thread: The 2007 model year had two plant shutdowns during the run. You can't have any kind of quality if the people on the line stop production for a bit and then start back up...twice.

I believe that this has had an issue for the 2007 owners. The 2006 owners just seem to be happier.

i would want an 07 just for the colored bumpers-- the back up camera and the remote start i can do without but its nice they are there

I have had my 07 for almost 3 months and have had no problems at all with it...only gripe i could have is that it uses a lot of gas...but that was part of the deal when I bought it.

I think the painted bumpers and rear camera alone make it a better year. As for an aftermarket tune, I think the out of box performance is pretty darn strong, and the tune will come, along with lots of other aftermarket products, we just need a little patience.

I smile every day I drive mine, it is the best value for the $$ I have had in a new vehicle in a long time...and turns way more heads everywhere I go than my C5 Vette ever did.

I dig my 07. I haven't really had any issues with it other than an occational 1-2 hesitation. I am sure with a little patience, we will get the nescessary tunes, etc...

They actually did fix quite a few issues with the 07's, and asside from one issue with my shifter module, mine has been trouble free and continues to impress me.

I love my 07.............. the only problem in jeep was the breakes noise

I love my 07 also. I used to drive an escalade before the Jeep and love getting into this bad azz SUV every time. :D
