I've read all the threads on adding a hitch but I'm unclear on something... I have the Mopar Exhaust. Will the Mopar hitch work or will that only work with the stock exhaust?

Towing a 6x10 enclosed trailer for a race kart, tools , etc. Not more than 2000# total.

It will work with the Mopar Hitch. I dont have the post where I asked the same question and got photo proof! I have the hitch still in a box LOL need to get this thing on. The Mopar hitch will work even with the Borla S.. so Im told.

I have the Mopar exhaust too.

LOL Thanks CHAD!!!! It was you that convinced me to pull the trigger 8 months ago on the hitch... still havce not installed it LOL. Summer is coming so I had better get on it.

Did you by any chance do the 'mod' on the Mopar hitch to make it more 'solid'? What I read some member did here has add a thin piece/strip of steel to fill in a gap somewhere between the bracket and the body. Apparently by doing this, you can increase the tow capacity.

The receiver comes with the hitch, you just need the ball.
