Well it's happened twice, first time i thought maybe it was a little rich at start up but happened again and got a little worried.

Truck was in the garage, started it up and blue smoke came out, smelly too. It was fine after initial start, didn't smoke after. But second time it happens, should i be worried? Doesn't do it at all startups, only the second time. Runs fine and no smoke when running accelerating or decelerating.....could it just be a little rich at startup.

Truck is a 2010 with 1500 miles.

I wouldnt be too worried.

If it happens very often, I would take it to the dealer and see what they have to say. Thats the nice part about having a warranty

Me too... i have had that happen a couple times, not often but also wondered about this... it was like exactly 1000 miles.... which prompted me to check oil level which was a quart low....????

Do any of you guys have a catch can installed?

If your not running a catch can the oil is being pumped back into the intake manifold.... maybe building up causing an occasional puff of blue
I think a catch can is a great investment.
