I mash it and head to the lane just right of him. As I easily blow by him, all I here is the sound of an engine struggle to keep my 4800lb SUV from leaving his 2800lb roadster several car lengths behind to no avail. It sounded as if the thing was going to blow up. It's definitely not a drag car. most fun car I ever owned but no torque sucks.
