This Nav thing in motion is ridiculous!!

I was with my wife and mother friday. We were meeting my dad at a restaurant to celebrate my 29th birthday. I didnt know how to get to the place so I figured I would have my wife program the address into the Nav. UHM...No.

I am already on the highway wont be pulling over any time soon.

To make a long story short, I was 30 minutes late to the restaurant because I missed the turnoff that the Nav would have told me about. Then I had to sit in traffic for 30 minutes....

I will be doint the NAV mod ASAP. I was severely pissed off on my own birthday.

I hear ya. I hate the seat memory being disabled in motion too. I have two programs in there. One for short trips and one for longer runs. I never remember to change it before I leave.

I thought the seat memory was only disabled when the seatbelt was latched?

I tried it sitting still, in gear with the seat belt unbuckled, and it still would not change memory settings. I had to put it in park for it to work. Is mine weird?

The only thing that pisses me off.. and it sounds anal... but is the reverse mirror function. The car DOESN'T HAVE ONE!!! I love parallel parking and making sure I don't curb!!! what the hell.... hahha

The car DOES have reverse mirror function. You have to have the dealer enable it for you.

If I remember correctly the 2007 model does not but the 2006 does.

That is correct, they definitley cut costs on the 07's which worries me about the future generations. Have your side mirror angled so you can see the fender line a little and just use that to measure the distance. Since our wheels dont go past the fender line this method has worked for me no prob.

Set setting #2 for the seat memory to have the mirrors aim down. push it when you are going to back up.
