Hello,
I'm officially a newbie! Are you kidding me??? Somebody wake me up . . . I must be dreaming! The horsepower gods just looked down on me and provided the perfect vehicle. It looks mean, sounds even meaner, beats my buddy's M3 like a rented mule, and it's an S-U-V!
Just picked up my black GCSRT8 yesterday and all I can say is this thing is utterly AMAZING! This jeep wants to jump out of it's own skin! The power & handling are incredible. I have been lurking & learning here for awhile, so thanks in advance for all the great info. I'm getting out of a '04 Touareg V8. It has 310HP, but is heavy as hell. It's like going from a Yugo to a dragster! My beauty is black, and has every available option . . . even the engine block heater(like I'll need that in CA!). I'll be asking plenty of questions soon as I will be moving towards blackout looks and performance mods as soon as I can do the research. All smiles . . . this thing is a BEAST!
Any help in the following areas will be greatly appreciated. I'll read every post!
Early, obvious mods(clear bra, 104/107 stat, billet stuff this week)
Visual mods(link to tinted lenses/black SRT8 trim?)
Performance mods(considering BBex, Kooks, heads, and a CAI. Chip?)
Cool mods(just b/c they make the experience better!(lights, tent, ??)
Looking forward to getting into the community.
