I think I'd like it better if the center was powder coated black.

Yes... HRE will make to spec for our Jeeps. They are outstanding to work with, and will be absolutley top notch.

I have come to the conclusion that you are the wheel God!

i love hre rims! i love asanti more. they will make wheels to fit you go cart if you pay them. they will probably run you between 6 and 8k for the 22's w/ tires

I have HRE's on my 300C. 22" 943R with powdercoated anthrocite centers. I have been eyeing the GCSRT8 for some time but waiting till 2008 are avail for order. I would gladly use their wheels again for the GCSRT8.

I priced some HREs for the Jeep a few months ago, would have been like $7000 without tires. They are incredible wheels, but I'd rather spend that money on a turbo kit (when one becomes available). Plus, the stock wheels really look almost perfect.

If the stock wheels were 21" and have a better quality finish they would be perfect.

Hey! Why don't all you after-market rim lover's get together and just set your money on fire... HaHa! I Love the Stockers except they scratch so easy..

Stock = stock. IF you're fine with that, then you are right-- these stockers are beautiful wheels!

If you don't care to stay stock, and want a high end wheel, then HREs are among the elite. To play on the HRE field though..... you will pay the dough. See, to me (and some others here) appearance gives me more pleasure than adding $7000 under the hood. Not saying that adding that dough under the hood is bad at all. I just personally like to do the appearance stuff first :)

Why are you knocking personal preference?

Someone who stuffed a 514 in a Blazer could ask why you didn't burn your money instead of buying the Jeep.

HRE's are a great wheel. My buddy had a set on his M3. They are very very strong. And pretty damn light. They also have great customer service.

And to the previous few comments: To each his own. I like the stockers, but I also have this inner need to mod EVERYTHING. wheels will one day come. And truthfully, they will probably be HRE's. I think that if you are going to pay big $ for a set of wheels, they better be lighter and stronger than stock. HRE's are a the best in that category.

i've put rims on everything i've owned and i have to say hre's rims are great and very performance oriented---asanti is more of a bling factor then hre but as far as weight goes not to many three piece wheels can companre to them--as far as looks go i would go with nothing but forgiatos but imho if u go with anything but them three brands your tossing your money and asking for ride and suspension component problems
